Die Roder verfügen über Treibräder mit einem breiten Radstand, um stabile Arbeit und sicheren Transport zu gewährleisten. Die richtig eingestellte Pflugschar hebt zwei benachbarte Dämme auf die Siebkette. Seitenschneider die an der Maschine montiert sind, schneiden überschüssigen Boden und Flechtenreste ab. Die sich bewegende und vibrierende Siebkette löst die Kartoffeln aus dem Erd- und Kartoffelgemisch.
Die Bodenreste werden durch die Stangen der Siebkette gesiebt, wohingegen die Pflanzenknollen / Wurzeln in Richtung zum hinteren Teil der Maschine gefördert werden.
Die Stäbe der 2 Siebketten sind mit Gummi überzogen, um das Risiko einer Beschädigung von den ausgegrabenen Knollen oder Wurzeln auf ein Minimum zu reduzieren.
Am Heck befindet sich noch ein angemessenes und profiliertes Schüttgitter, dass die ausgesiebten Kartoffeln hinter der Maschine in einer Reihe ablegt. Das Schüttgitter ermöglicht das Platzieren von ausgegrabenen Kartoffelknollen, damit sie nicht durch die Reifen des Traktors bei der nächsten Fahrt zerstört werden.
